| Tiivistelmä: | In the 1980's thousands of organizations attempted to implement computer aided software engineering (CASE) technology. Some organizations were successful while many others continue to struggle with CASE implementation today. The introduction of a technology like CASE is more effective when the procedure being automated is already an accepted procedure, the technique/tool is easy to use, the technique/tool integrates well with existing techniques and tools, management is committed and has a shared vision, users of the system have a personal stake in it, and training is provided in a timely manner. |
