| Tiivistelmä: | Today, software maintenance still consumes more than half of all development resources. A problem is that much of existing software was produced before widespread use of structured techniques. Another problem is the difficulty of collecting data for managing software maintenance. This case study describes an approach to developing analysis procedures for maintenance goals when only partial data is available. The approach illustrates that the data required need be neither perfect nor complete to provide management insight into ongoing software maintenance. |
