| Tiivistelmä: | The survey report looks at the Italian market for jewellery (including plain gold, gold with gemstones, and silver, platinum and costume/fashion), watches and clocks. In terms of the watch/clock market, it should be noted that sales figures only exist for wrist watches and these amount to official trade estimates. This is because industry/trade sources consider wrist watches more as jewellery items. In Italy, the trade associations and ISTAT (National Institute of Statistics) divide the markets into the following areas: oreficeria, gioielleria, bigiotteria, argenteria and orologi. |
