| Tiivistelmä: | This study examines the relation of strategy process and structure. Our results confirm an efficiency influence of structural regulations in strategy processes. As to the linearity of the relations, however, it cannot be expected that a "more" of structure leads to a "more" in efficiency. The analysis rather confirmed the impression that the inner consistence of structural patterns is vital for the success: The more consistent a pattern is - within the phases as well beyond the process as a whole - the more efficient is the process. With the study on hand, the static view of the strategy-structure relation, which has been up to now the prevailing one in the field of strategy reseach, has been overcome in favour of a dynamic view. |
