| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines the relationship btw. unemployment (hereafter as: unemp.) and marital dissolution in Norway and tries to determine factors possible moderating the impact of unemp.. A panel data se of 40472 couple-year observations during an eight-year period is analysed, and the results show that unemp. increases the risk of marital dissolution. The unemp. of husbands seems to be related to economic problems, but unemp. of wives has several possible explanations. |
