| Tiivistelmä: | Within three years, China will invest 260 billion yuan to carry out large-scale renovation and construction of urban and rural electric networks. Three batches of feasibility reports on construction and renovation of urban electric networks have received official replies, which involve an investment of over 80 billion yuan. In 1998, two batches of renovation projects of rural electric networks have been arranged, with a total investment of 44 billion yuan. According to related calculation, more than 40 percent of total funds in this construction and renovation project will be invested on equipment. Only the import substitutes of cables will add demands on domestic market by 6 billion yuan. |
