| Tiivistelmä: | This article discusses whether research associations have a facilitating role in knowledge networks in the context of tourism research and marketing. The authors study factors, attitudes and behaviors related to professional networking in a case example of the Travel and Tourism Research Association. Clusters of academic and practitioner networks are found inside the association. The article contributes to the understanding of professional networks and the role of associations in applied research communities. |
