| Tiivistelmä: | The report covers the French market for housewares. The market for housewares has been stagnant over the past five years. In 1991 the total housewares market was worth some FF15.4 billion, having increased by 17% by current value and 4% by constant value since 1987. The market for housewares is extremely fragmented both in terms of product and manufacturers. Therefore production statistics are available only for certain areas represented by trade associations. Detailed statistics on production of different kind of housewares, exports and imports, market sectors, retail prices, brands and manufacturers are presented. |
