| Tiivistelmä: | Many organizational problems that can be observed nowadays in trading companies are attributed to deficiencies in strategic decision making. One of the most important aspects of strategic orientation is interconnected with the development of organizational structure. The management of trading companies have to decide between centralized and decentralized structures. The "stuck-in the-middle" situation is dangerous and must be avoided. Some implications for productivity and organizational effectiveness are described and analyzed. |
