| Tiivistelmä: | By the subscription of the final document of the Urugay Round of GATT on the 15th of April, 1994, in Marrakesh by 121 countries, a new world trade system was created and a long series of hard negotiations was ended. As a consequence of this, World Trade Organization /WTO/ can start to work on 01. 01. 1995 and the results of the negotiations can be realized. The article describes the former shortages of the old GATT, the elimination of which was the goal of the negotiations. The most important results of the Uruguay Round as well as its impacts on the different segments of the international trade are also considered. |
