Tiivistelmä: | Too many companies are squandering their resources on projects that look like winners but fail to produce long-lasting bottom-line results. Reengineering has been both a great success and a great failure, the authors argue. Their study of over 100 companies shows that many managers squander resources on redesign projects that are neither broad enough nor deep enough to translate into long-term profits. Companies like Banca di America e di Italia, Siemens Nixdorf Service, and AT&T demonstrate how managers can expand their reengineering projects and handle the resistance to change. |
