| Tiivistelmä: | This paper is an attempt to apply Constitutional Economics in its positive and normative aspects on the European unification process and to develop some proposals for European constitutional rules. It is shown why this approach is applicable to this process, and how some aspects of this process are in line with Constitutional Economics. Some aspects of the treaty of Maastricht about the introduction of the European Monetary Union is analysed under this perspective. |
