| Tiivistelmä: | This case study is a description of the use of process flow scheduling (PFS) techniques in the production of fluorescent lamps by the Sylvania Lighting Division of GTE Electrical Products. The use of PFS to manage the capacity of critical operations in a high volume repetitive manufacturing environment is illustrated, and synergistic results of implementing PFS with MRP are reviewed. |
