| Tiivistelmä: | Scientists recently discovered that systems in nature are capable of endless variety because their dynamics are chaotic so that unpredictable new patterns emerge through a spontaneous self-organization. Since human organizations are also dynamic feedback systems, these discoveries (chaos and self-organization) provide a fundamentally different way of understanding strategic development. With this in mind, it is impossible to plan or envision the long term future of an innovative organization. Instead, we must create an unfolding future, learn together in groups and interact in a spontaneous, self-organizing manner. |
