| Tiivistelmä: | An economic model for raw material selection is presented and a case analysis is given. The model considers two decision factors: initial raw material cost and additional manufacturingcosts incured due to inappropriateness of raw material quality. This additional manufacturing cost may include items such as extra operator cost, extra machine cost and extra quality cost. |
