| Tiivistelmä: | While Japanese manufacturing management principles have been well publicized, little statistical analysis has been revealed concerning - which Japanese manufacturing management principles have been adopted by manufacturing firms in USA, - how their transfer/adoption relates to firm size, process technology , product classification, and delivery method, - their impact on company purchaser/vendor policies, and - the underlying motivation behind the policy changes. This article discusses findings concerning these issues. |
