| Tiivistelmä: | The purpose of this paper is to statistically verify whether or not trade policy has had a significant impact on economic growth diversity in Asia and Latin America. A number of research papers are available on the relationship between trade policy and economic growth. This paper intends to make a contribution to the existing stock of knowledge by comparing total factor productivities between countries and between points in time using comparable long-term data and analyzing policy changes over time and country variations using unified trade policy indices. |
