| Tiivistelmä: | Over the last few years, more and more localities and states have generated new kinds of partnerships between schools and employers. The aim of these partnerships is to prepare young people for the world of work. Successful programs include adaptations of the traditional European youth apprenticeship model as well as retooled vocational education programs that closely link workplace learning with classroom-based education. This report includes a look at school to work systems at Ford and Siemens. |
