| Tiivistelmä: | The rise of market-driven environmental issues has left many companies perplexed by new problems and opportunities. To cope with this management challenge, the drive towards sustainability should be seen as the ultimate goal of the organisation. This article aims to describe the dynamics of three major environmental issues within the pulp and paper industry. Based on the analysis, conclusions for human resource management are drawn and a conceptual model for integrating environmental issues into the organisation is presented. |
