| Tiivistelmä: | Technical and technological capabilities of modern information technology alone do not guarantee successful and price acceptable availability of informaition to end users who seek for accurate, relevant and timely information.Organizing the information flows and connecting information subsystems should be approached and planned carefully.It is not enough only to provide the information to end users.Information should be easily accessible, presented visually and intuitively, with possibilities for drilling down to the desired Ievel of detail and results of the analysis should be returned back to the information system.This article presents a new concept of information support to business data analyzing - the OLAP concept, with OLAP technology and OLAP tools which provide informational demands described before. |
