| Tiivistelmä: | Of the many probably causes of TQM failure, the lack of relevant measures for cost of quality stands out. Only a few companies measure their cost of quality, and even in those that do, cost of quality is grossly understated. Cost of quality measures serve as a means to determine when, where, and how quality dollars are spent. In this article, the impact of quality on profit, ways to collect and report quality costs, and how to compute return on quality will be explored. |
