| Tiivistelmä: | A focused factory is widely accepted as a good thing to have. Nevertheless, little has been done to formally define the term focused factory and to understand the relationships between focus and variables related to the plant environment. Based on a Delphi survey of 15 experts in manufacturing management, a formal definition of the term focused factory is presented. Also, the panel's responses to several focus related issues are reported. |
