| Tiivistelmä: | The remaining years of this century will be the period of world economic boom. According to the World Bank's forecast, the economic growth rate of the whole world will reach 3.3% from 1995-2000. By the end of this century, the world trade volume of commodities will hit US$ 5000 billion to 6000 billion and the world service trade volume near US$ 2000 billion. Therefore, after analyzing comprehensively the world economic and trade situation and its development trends, we can see that China will face more chances than challenges in its economic development. |
