| Tiivistelmä: | There are three types of development models for the economic cooperation in East Asia. They are the coastal area-based cooperation model with complementary economy as the basis, the border area-based cooperation model combining trade with economic and technological cooperation and sub- region or growth triangle-based cooperation model. Both China's and Russia's status and functions in the regional economic cooperation will apparently be elevated and strengthened. Although the ten signs between China and America tend to relax, divergence of views and friction will still exist. But coordination and cooperation will still be the main stream of Sino-American relation. Japan has adopted the strategy of placing equal stress on Japanese American relation and Sino-Japanese relation. |
