| Tiivistelmä: | In 1997, China's economy will keep sustained development with a high GNP growth rate. Foreign exchange reserve will continue to increase. Although financial income tends to increase, it will be slowed down. Inflation will be under control and the general level of prices will be kept at below 10%. The share of state-owned economy in GNP and the total market amount will continue to decrease. The consumption demand will grow steadily. It is possible that the problem of declining economic returns will be alleviated temporarily. After Hongkong's smooth transition, its economy will continue to boom. The increase margin of import will be slightly higher than that of export. Utilizing foreign investment will enter the stage of enhancing its quality and level. |
