| Tiivistelmä: | Within the framework of its annual report to the Federal Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Technology on the technological performance of the Federal Republic of Germany, the DIW and the Centre for European Economic Research, Mannheim have analysed the nature, extent and international distribution of the research and development activities of multinational companies operating in Germany. This analysis reveals a close correlation between foreign trade and the internationalisation of production and R&D. |
