| Tiivistelmä: | Foreigners are aware that Latvia has been witnessing privatization for quite some years now and that it is an ongoing process; sometimes they also know that recently the sale of state enterprises has picked up considerably. E.g. in the past year the sales rate of Latvian Privatization Agency was on average one enterprise per day. However, it is hard to perceive, how multifarious the privatization process is, who are arranging it and how successful one is in different areas of privatization. |
