Tiivistelmä: | This article suggests a process theory of learning within innovative small firms. In the core of the theory are organizational routines. Organizations consist of routines of action, which are adapted or discarded depending on changes in external and internal environments. Learning is adaptive process because it does not often include innovation but imitation and the unit at which adaption occurs is the routine. |
