| Tiivistelmä: | Theoretically, the methodological importance of factor price equalization increased while extending international trade theory to cases with externalities, increasing returns, and imperfect competition. The more factor price equalization is acceptable, the less urgent is the theory of international trade with imperfect competition when the integrated world equilibrium is not reproduced. The author deals with the way factor price equilibrium should be tested and describes the data used in the application, model specification, and the estimation method. |
