| Tiivistelmä: | The interest rate policy refers to a monetary policy which indirectly makes currency adjustment by adjusting interest rate. Its basic function is to indirectly adjust the currency in circulation and thus adjust social and economic life by raising or lowering interest rate with a certain expected aim. The downward adjustment of interest rate would promote social investment and the increase of individual consumption. The leverage of interest rate also has the functions of adjusting supply and stabilizing currency. |
