| Tiivistelmä: | This paper emphasises the need to support decision makers in their execution of decision-making strategies. In particular, it discusses the specific cognitive requirements of the strategy execution process and uses the insights generalised as the conceptual basis from which to guide the design of cognitive aids to be incorporated into decision support technology. The impact of such cognitive aids is then empirically tested. The results indicate that computerized cognitive aids can successfully be designed into DSS to support decision makers' strategy execution process. |
