| Tiivistelmä: | The bigger, the better ? Hardly. Sometimes it's better even not to be "real." Successful organizations adapt to their environment. Finally after several phases, the firm's structure is redesigned, if needed, to better support its strategy. The theory is that form (structure) should follow function (strategy). There is, however, a special case in which structure can drive strategy - or at least reconfigure it. This article explores that special case. |
