| Tiivistelmä: | The deflation was evident in 1998 and its actual influence much larger than that produced by the price-index falling. The imbalance of both the total amount and structure was present. For the price situation in 1999, there exist two possibilities one of which is the price-index rises to zero or positive value, thus out of deflation, the other remaining negative and keeping deflation goon at low level. In there is lack of stronger macro-policies to change the situation, the price-index is likely going on to be negative and deflation kept on. |
