| Tiivistelmä: | This article presents an approach for analyzing and communicating the financial implications of company's environmental exposures through an empirical application to companies in the U.S. pulp and paper industry. The methodology is based on a sequence of steps. Within the pulp and paper industry, there are varying levels of exposure and associated risk from environmental issues. In environmentally sensitive industries, the presented approach can help companies e.g. to benchmark themselves, identify risks and opportunities, assign financial values etc. |
