| Tiivistelmä: | Companies are turning to new knowledge-management technologies to improve the decision-making performance of distributed knowledge workers. In order to capture the full potential of group knowledge, the authors argue that executives must address a series of choices about how individual knowledge workers should leverage group knowledge, focusing on the dimensions of relevance, richness, reliability, and relationships. These choices will inform how investments in both organizational context and technology should be made. This article elaborates on the key choices and provides a framework for creating an environment of high-performance decision-making. |
