| Tiivistelmä: | This article focuses on the development of clean technologies and the impact of regulations on them. First, the conditions for the development are examined theoretically. Second, the reduction of volatile organic compound emissions is explored using case studies in the chemical and metallurgical industries. The results indicate that the problem of developing clean technology is caused by factors impeding technological adoption. |
