| Tiivistelmä: | This article explores the intragroup differences in self-employment (hereafter as: self-emp.) rate within various immigrant groups and the native population in Sweden. In the groups of immigrants from Southern Europe, non- European immigrants and natives the individuals with higher education show the lowest self-emp. rates. Immigrants recently arrived have a lower probability of self-emp. In all of the groups the self-emp. of men was higher than of women. Finally, there were no statistically significant intragroup differences in self-emp. earnings among individuals with different education levels. |
