| Tiivistelmä: | Multiple discourses of the nature of enterprise and entrepreneur have developed throughout the 20th century. The purpose of this paper is to trace these discourses in order to understand social and economic entrepreneurship. It considers the nature of social enterprise and if it can be constructed as a form entrepreneurship. The paper suggests that the definition of entrepreneurship might be modified to include the creation of 'social and economic value' and in longer term they should be self-sustaining. |
