Tiivistelmä:This article explores the relationship on the multinational company's market environment, stakeholders, resources, and values to the development of strategic social planning and positioning. Based on a sample of multinational firms in Mexico, it was investigated how these relationships affect firm's value creation. The findings suggest that the favorable, dynamic market conditions and the resource for continuous innovation are related to strategic social positioning, whilst firm's social responsibility orientation is related to strategic social positioning. The creation of value is found to be connected with positioning but not with planning.
