| Tiivistelmä: | This is a study of information content of annual earnings announcements using errors in forecasts by analysts due for publication within one week of earnings announcements as a substitute/proxy for unexpected earnings. The conclusion is this. Provided that analyst forecasts errors measure unexpected earnings, annual earning announcements have information content even when compared to market expectations just before the publication of the official announcements. |
