| Tiivistelmä: | The increased flexibility requirements of the market have led to company reorganization. The goals have been re-defined and the tasks re-allocated. As a consequence logistics have become an important tool for corporate strategy, a task with which the management is having to content increasingly.The "rescuing" just-in-time approach is creating new challenges, which are being tackled with the different methods of the most varied philosophy. The efforts being made to create faster through-put times and the associated low stocks are meeting particular difficulties. |
