| Tiivistelmä: | A general class of cooperative games, optimization games with complementarity is presented and their attributes and diverse applications are explored. These games involve interactions by a number of players controlling complex systems of complementary activities. Examples include a general welfare game,a game with procurement of inputs for production,and an activity selection game. Every game in this class is a convex game and hence has a nonempty core. Optimal activity levels and certain game solutions have well-behaved qualitative properties. |
