Tiivistelmä:There is a great evolution of assessment of management education and development during the last 30 years. Ethnographic methodology became more and more appreciated as quantitative one had failed. The Keeley's method is presented which applies four models of assessment differentiating 1/ the offical objectives, 2/ the operative objectives, 3/ the system's resource objectives, and 4/ the participants' satisfaction objectives. This theory was checked after a two-weeks long course held for top managers. A great variety of information was used describing the course manager, the organizers and the participants. The ethnographic methodology proved to be suitable especially for assessing changes in values, expectations and behavior.
