Tiivistelmä:Lack of consensus and lower productivity may be attributed not to the absence of any organisational culture but to a dichotomic culture: culture of the executives and culture of the subordinates. It is necessery to find the common points of the two distinct attitudes. Following a close study of the Quibec Cascades Paper company, the day-to-day cultural reality of a prosperous company is analysed here. Corporate cultures are the result of long processes based essentially on openness, mutual confidence and accepted sharing, thus invalidating the idea, still in fashion today, that it is possible to quickly develop such a culture using some miraculous recipe.
