| Tiivistelmä: | Planning as a management function is also of great importance in trading companies. There is, however, little reference in the literature to the planning problems of this particular branch. The framework of a planning system designed for trading companies on the basis of a general planning and control system are developed. A distinction is made between trading enterprises with functional and a divisional organizational development. In the first case questions of enterprise philosophy and politics, strategic, operative and financial planning and planning for the whole enterprise are considered in detail. In the second case planning depends on the intensity of decentralization. |
