| Tiivistelmä: | In international technology licensing technology prices tend to be determined as a result of a series of negotiations between licensors and licensees and strongly influenced by their respective bargaining leverages in the negotiation process. Particularly the imperfect nature of international technology markets and the weak bargaining leverages of licensees, especially in developing countries, frequently lead to charges of overcompensation for the technologies imported by both licensees and their governments. There are examined major determinants of technology price in imperfect international technology markets and suggested effective policy measures for the licensee government. |
