| Tiivistelmä: | The concept of automated support for decision making in organizations has undergone significant development since it was first proposed. The principles of group process as an important component of group activities in planning and policy making are highlighted. Descriptions of the features and functions of the hardware and software environment illustrate critical issues in group deliberation. A particular planning system is discussed as an example of knowledge-based decision support system is discussed as an support system architecture that integrates process management, model management and data management in a group decision making and planning environment. |
