| Tiivistelmä: | Today's TV transmission systems were developed in the early 1960s. The MAC system /Multiplexed Analogue Component/ was developed by the IBA in the U.K. The MAC/packet system has been accepted as the new European standard for DBS. It meets the needs of both satellite and cable distribution. The implementation of the new technology needs special training. At present the U.K., France and Germany are exploiting MAC.These countries have jointly developed training packages. |
