| Tiivistelmä: | Political changes have repercussions on the national economies of Europe. Structural change is needed. Case studies about Swiss SMEs revealed that new circumstances increased rather than diminished their competitiveness. They try to isolate markets and find new combinations. Some of them chose however the wrong strategy of subcontracting. |
