| Tiivistelmä: | With growing costs in maintenance, equipment, and labour, the need for an effective maintenance program is increasing. The objective of this study is to compare the performance of 3 maintenance policies in conjunction with 4 two-stage group scheduling heuristics, under 8 experimental conditions. Approaches which include shop efficiency by performing preventive maintenance and machine setups simultaneously are also considered. |
